Project Manager Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to lead end-to-end project activities within our modular furniture manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Initiation:
    • Create project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
    • Present proposals, budgets, and schedules to clients and stakeholders.
  • Design Coordination:
    • Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and clients to finalize design concepts.
    • Evaluate design specifications against client requirements and budget constraints.
    • Oversee the development of technical drawings and documentation.
  • Budget & Cost Control:
    • Establish and monitor project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
    • Approve procurement of materials, furniture, and fixtures.
    • Manage cost variations and implement corrective actions.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management:
    • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors, contractors, and suppliers based on quality and reliability.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms.
    • Coordinate delivery schedules and installation processes.
  • Construction & Installation Oversight:
    • Supervise on-site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
    • Coordinate with contractors, workers, and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
    • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards.
    • Address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain records of quality control measures.
  • Schedule & Timeline Management:
    • Develop and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.
    • Track progress and adjust plans accordingly.
    • Ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:
    • Maintain open communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide regular status updates and reports.
    • Manage client expectations and address concerns proactively.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement risk management plans and monitor their effectiveness.
    • Address unforeseen issues promptly and minimize their impact.
  • Post-Project Closeout:
    • Conduct final inspections and obtain approvals from clients and stakeholders.
    • Ensure proper handover of documentation, warranties, and manuals.
    • Gather client feedback and conduct post-occupancy evaluations.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in project management with a focus on modular furniture manufacturing.
    • Degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or architecture.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
