Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor oversees all electrical maintenance activities in the plant, including participating in maintenance program preparation, directing their implementation, and examining equipment performance.

  • Develops and implements detailed maintenance procedures to ensure safe execution of activities.
  • Ensures timely implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Manages electronic and hard copy records for equipment and conducts regular preventive and condition monitoring surveys.
  • Monitors equipment performance and maintenance costs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Liaises with other departments to coordinate work activities and plan plant shutdowns.
  • Reviews requirements for new equipment or repairs, evaluates proposals, and raises recommendations.
  • Optimizes consumables consumption according to annual business plans.
  • Ensures 5S activities are conducted daily on the shop floor and promotes a safe working environment.
  • Drives continuous improvement projects to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and quality standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical, Instrumentation
  2. 15-20 years of experience in Cold Rolling Mill Electrical Maintenance
