**Job Title:** Laboratory Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Operations Manager to lead our state-of-the-art laboratory in achieving the highest quality results. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring accurate analysis, and maintaining efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct soil, water, and product biodegradation studies to ensure high-quality results.
  • Manage daily laboratory operations, including scheduling lab assignments and coordinating with analysts/technicians.
  • Ensure accurate analysis at all times, addressing technical issues, and conferring with the Head of Lab on critical matters.
  • Train laboratory analysts to maintain a high level of expertise within the team.
  • Control lab equipment and supply inventory, performing instrument calibrations and maintaining verifications as per schedule.
  • Support the Laboratory Manager in their absence and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the service industry, preferably in testing, inspection, and certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement corrective actions.
