Job Title: Article Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Article Assistant to join our team. As an Article Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in audits, preparing documentation, testing transactions, and drafting financial statements and schedules of an overseas Group.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory changes. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, and time management.

The ideal candidate will be pursuing or completed degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance—or IPCC/IPC qualification in progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit, Accounting & Financial Reporting: Assist in audits by preparing documentation, testing transactions, and drafting financial statements and schedules of an overseas Group.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Support preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation
  • Research & Standards Interpretation: Stay updated on accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory changes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Pursuing or completed degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance—or IPCC/IPC qualification in progress
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), and comfort with Excel and tools like Tally, SAP or QuickBooks
  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, time management
