Job Description

We are seeking a talented Junior AI Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building cutting-edge Gen-AI applications using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, backend infrastructure, and real-world AI deployments impacting clients across domains.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing RAG pipelines using vector databases and prompt engineering, developing and maintaining backend systems using Next.js API routes and FastAPI, collaborating with frontend developers to integrate AI services with React/Next.js applications, writing clean, scalable code with robust documentation and testing practices, and staying updated on advancements in AI and recommending improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize RAG pipelines using vector databases and prompt engineering.
  • Develop and maintain backend systems using Next.js API routes and FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate AI services with React/Next.js applications.
  • Write clean, scalable code with robust documentation and testing practices.
  • Stay updated on advancements in AI and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proficient knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with FastAPI, Next.js API routes.
  • Comfortable with React, Next.js.
  • Understanding of LLMs, embeddings, vector stores, and RAG workflows.
  • Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs.
  • Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, or cloud deployment.
