Coordinating Manufacturing Operations Manager

As a Coordinating Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of manufacturing activities with cross-functional teams. Your primary focus will be on reducing cycle times and improving capacity through effective process planning and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve supplier selection, negotiation, and technical review processes with automation vendors and fixtures/tools manufacturers.
  • Develop and implement lean concepts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in assembly lines and automotive products.
  • Coordinate with top management to achieve targeted results by proactively planning and assessing risks, ensuring commitment to reach milestones.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of efficient process planning, validation, and change management strategies.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to plan and implement assembly equipment installations, including discussing and evaluating supplier proposals and performing manufacturing reviews and pre-delivery buy-offs at supplier sites.
Process Planning and Improvement:

Ensure that all manufacturing processes are well-planned, validated, and managed to meet IATF requirements.

  • Evaluate and improve ergonomic and workability during process reviews.
  • Manage PCN/ECN activities on assembly levels to ensure seamless product changes and updates.
Program Management and Reporting:

Proactively monitor and assess program performance, ensuring commitment to reach milestones and updating LRR and PDP according to MAFACT guidelines.
