Job Title: Production Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing unit's day-to-day operations. This critical leadership role is focused on delivering production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Lead and oversee all production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely output.
  • Supervise job placement, material flow, and stage-wise movement during fabrication and assembly.
  • Design and execute layout plans for new lines/projects including fixtures, gauges, and equipment installations.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), daily production reports, machine logs, and breakdown records.
  • Manage in-process inventory and maintain an efficient flow across the production chain.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and design teams for smooth onboarding of new products and structure types.
  • Monitor production costs and resource utilization to meet predefined goals.
  • Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and industry certifications specific to solar structure manufacturing.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related metal fabrication industry.
  • Proficiency in managing production machinery, tooling, and quality control processes.
  • A solid understanding of solar mounting structures and associated fabrication methods.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • A working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage shop floor teams and workflows.
