Job Title: Operations Director

About the Role:

  • This professional will establish, scale, and lead operations from inception to maturity, with potential for senior leadership growth.
  • The role involves launching business models with selected employers and placing interested young professionals in partnership with strategic skill development organizations.
  • The individual will be responsible for operational execution and coordination with all stakeholders – both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and Scale Operations: Develop processes, SOPs, technology integrations, and delivery mechanisms from the ground up.
  • Employer and Worker Engagement: Manage relationships with employers; oversee worker mobilization, onboarding, and placements in partnership with skill development organizations and worker sourcing networks.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with sales, tech, HR, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
  • P&L and Compliance: Drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance with staffing and regulatory requirements, and manage cost optimization.
  • Strategic Growth: Identify new sectors, cities, and partnership opportunities while executing pilots and scaling initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and build high-performing teams that embody a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and optimize processes for efficiency and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and execution-driven mindset. Strong stakeholder management, operational excellence, team building, and P&L ownership.
  • Resourceful and capable of handling both field-level and back-end tasks.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with staff augmentation models.
