Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

Global Finance Support

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global finance operations, multi-currency accounting and compliance with international tax and reporting standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    • Support the preparation and accuracy of financial statements for all international offices in compliance with local GAAP, IFRS and other applicable standards.
    • Assist with timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Coordinate with external auditors to support audit requirements across regions.
    • Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with global tax laws, transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Participate in the global budgeting process and assist in consolidating financial data across regions.
    • Monitor financial performance metrics including cash flow, profitability and budget variances.
    • Provide support for financial forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Cash Management & Treasury:
    • Assist in managing global cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
    • Support initiatives to optimize working capital and streamline fund transfers across international entities.
    • Help monitor foreign exchange exposures and support hedging strategies.
  • Multicurrency Book Management:
    • Maintain accurate accounting records for transactions involving multiple currencies across global entities.
    • Ensure compliance with currency conversion policies, FX rate applications and related accounting treatment.
    • Work with finance teams to reconcile currency gains/losses and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Process Improvement & Systems Management:
    • Identify and support improvements in financial processes to drive global consistency and efficiency.
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies across regions.
    • Assist in ERP and financial system integrations and upgrades.
  • Leadership & Team Support:
    • Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial practices and reporting.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members.
    • Act as a liaison between regional teams and senior leadership on financial matters.
  • Strategic Financial Support:
    • Assist in preparing financial analysis to support mergers, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives.
    • Support business risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis for international projects.
    • Contribute to strategic financial planning efforts in collaboration with senior finance leadership.
