Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Procurement Professional. This role will be responsible for supporting our procurement operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement operations, including purchase order management, supplier management, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement projects.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
- Contribute to the development of procurement policies and procedures.
- Manage and analyze procurement metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Experience with procurement software and systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
