Job Title: Data Information ManagerOur organization seeks a skilled Data Information Manager to oversee data accuracy, completeness, and quality across our data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data management principles and data quality practices.This role will be critical in supporting our data governance efforts and enhancing our data architecture.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned data domains as business and technical steward.
  • Create and maintain metadata, business glossary, and data catalog entries using DG Tools like Collibra, Altion, or similar.
  • Collaborate with data owners to enforce data definitions, classifications, and data quality rules.
  • Perform data profiling, issue identification, and remediation coordination.
  • Support the onboarding of new data assets (cataloging, lineage, and stewardship assignments).
  • Assist in governance tool configuration, workflow management, and integration automation.
  • Work with engineering teams to support PII tagging, data masking, and access governance.
  • Provide training and support to business users in using governance tools effectively.
  • Develop and deploy the master data governance framework and use supporting data management tools.
  • Define data quality metrics and monitor data quality performance against established targets.
  • Conduct regular data governance reviews and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, validation checks, and exception handling.
  • Collaborate with teams to align data delivery with business and reporting requirements.
  • Document data processes, standards, and lineage to support governance and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance and Operations of Data Governance
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra (catalog, lineage, workflows, API integrations)
  • Experience with data management tools (e.g., data catalogs, MDM systems, data quality platforms)
  • Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and data classification practices
  • Technical skills in SQL, Python/Java, REST APIs for tool integration and automation
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills between business users and technical teams
