Job Title: Enterprise Data Governance Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Governance Strategist to design and implement data governance strategies. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in data governance, strong knowledge of data governance principles and compliance practices, proficiency in SQL, Python/Java, and expertise in tools like Collibra, Informatica EDC/AXON, Alation, MHUB, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-wide data governance architecture frameworks and meta data models.
  • Establishing data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures for compliance processes.
  • Conducting maturity assessments and change management efforts.
  • Evaluating and recommending Data governance framework and tools to meet enterprise business needs.
  • Designing and implementing architectural patterns for data catalog, data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data security, and master data management.
  • Creating and managing data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data catalogs.
  • Architecting technical and business metadata workflows and govern glossary approvals and workflows.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's/master's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. They will also ensure data compliance with relevant regulations and collaborate with Data Stewards to define technical specifications for data quality rules, validation checks, and KPIs reporting.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data governance principles and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They should also be able to design and implement data governance strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
