Collibra Data Governance Expert

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality. A strong background in Collibra platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive data governance strategies across the enterprise.
  • Configure and maintain Collibra's Operating Model, ensuring seamless workflows and domain alignment.
  • Develop and optimize custom BPMN workflows to meet business needs.
  • Integrate Collibra with various platforms via APIs and connectors, ensuring smooth data flow.
  • Partner with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models.
  • Establish frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams.
  • Act as the Collibra Subject Matter Expert (SME) and evangelist, promoting adoption and governance maturity across the organization.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 6 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Collibra experience, including platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage in Collibra.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
