Job Title

Our company is seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to lead our design and development team for NMC technology in various formats of battery cells manufactured in our Gigafactory.

  • Maintain adequate inventory of raw materials, assembly materials, personal protective equipment, and consumables in the shop floor according to production plans.
  • Issue materials from warehouses to production using materials handling equipment like robotic guided vehicles, automated guided vehicles, forklifts, etc.
  • Allocate manpower for kitting/de-palletizing, palletizing, packing, material issues, internal scrap movement, etc.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
  • Move various scrap (hazardous and non-hazardous) to designated areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, supply chain management, etc., to fulfill business requirements.
  • Maintain required entries and documents in SAP according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Adhere to standards and maintain personal protective equipment and consumables.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the right materials to production at the right time and in the right place.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to avoid production stoppages due to material unavailability.
  • Train manpower to use related equipment efficiently.
