Procurement Expert - IT Solutions

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Expert to join our team. As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the approval of all IT procurement projects and ensure adherence to Group Procurement Policies and associated processes.
  • Work with the IT PR (procurement request) team or Invoice team to perform PR/invoice processing activities for Group IT.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processing work through defined SLA based operations.
  • Liaise with IT vendors and internal clients globally for IT procurement operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide procurement services to Functional/Business stakeholders.
  • Support IT RFx sourcing projects and vendor comparison analyses.
  • Assess and onboard new vendors, as well as conduct ongoing reassessments.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, handle payment queries, rectify discrepancies, and review invoices before processing/approval/payment.
  • Maintain repository of vendor contracts, procurement, and invoices documentation.
  • Publish periodic management reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as Procurement Analyst or similar position within the Procure-to-Pay function, preferably in IT Procurement.
  • Sound knowledge of IT industry procurements (hardware, software, services & telecom).
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Working experience in vendor management.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices and procurement/payment related tools and processes.
  • Excellent attention to details and analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ability to process large volumes of requests and perform routine tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English.
