Procurement Specialist

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing high-quality materials and managing vendor relationships. As a key member of the procurement team, they will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to support business growth.

  • Evaluate and select vendors/suppliers for project-related materials, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements and company policies.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Coordinate with project teams to understand technical requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain a vendor database, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes in EPC/Projects/Water Industry.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/materials.
  • Vendor development and supplier relationship management.
  • Negotiation and cost optimization skills.
  • ERP/Procurement software knowledge preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure materials and supplies from qualified vendors.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
