Technical Support Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing direct technical support to merchants throughout their full lifecycle.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues while also serving as an internal product advocate to drive platform improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a key source of knowledge on web-stack technologies, industry-standard integration methods and best practices
  • Provide direct technical support to merchants via phone, email or other communication channels
  • Track product processes and contribute to platform feedback and issue resolution
  • Advise merchants on best implementation practices and address specific merchant issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles to improve customer self-service capabilities

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, innovative problem-solving capabilities and adaptability to new processes and procedures. A strong affinity with API troubleshooting, Postman, internet technologies and knowledge of technical processes is essential. Additionally, you should be self-driven, flexible, and high productivity with minimal supervision.
