Korean Language Expert Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Korean language expert to join our team in the development of AI models. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and creative adaptability in Korean.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate, engaging, and contextually appropriate written responses in Korean for various prompts.
  • Evaluate and review human- and AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, clarity, safety, and cultural alignment.
  • Provide detailed linguistic assessments focusing on style, nuance, bias, clarity, and intent.
  • Conduct peer reviews of linguistic contributions to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Design creative content such as prompts, role-play scenarios, games, and thought experiments to test and challenge AI capabilities.
  • Explore cultural aspects of Korean language use, including idioms, humor, irony, and traditions.

Requirements:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Korean with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Strong English-language communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Korean writing, editing, or content creation with command over tone, style, and genre.
  • In-depth knowledge of Korean culture, idioms, humor, and societal nuances.
  • Experience in linguistics, translation, teaching, or language-related projects preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and refine text for clarity, engagement, and accuracy.
  • Willingness to complete a Korean writing skills assessment during the selection process.
