Workday Functional Consultant

A skilled professional is required to play a pivotal role in delivering complex solutions for clients across various functional areas.

  • The primary responsibility of this position will be to plan and prioritize work, assist leads in all phases of the delivery lifecycle, and report status/impediments to the greater project team.
  • This role involves leading/managing small implementation projects/launch implementations, managing workload for the team, and assisting the team in all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
  • The job requires developing complex configurations for clients and leads, managing data transformation, and performing EIB Data loads.
  • Ongoing support and go-live assistance are also key responsibilities.
  • Data conversion activities pertaining to Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll will also be handled by the candidate.
  • Coordination with leads for project delivery is crucial.
  • End-to-end ownership of assigned projects is expected.

Delivering solutions for at least one of the Workday modules: Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll is mandatory. This includes identifying scope, scope gaps, and getting them addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting requirements, assessing complexity, and defining development and analysis timelines.
  • Identifying test scenarios, developing test scripts, and providing key support in Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Mentorship and coaching of team members are essential skills.
  • Flexibility to work in multiple time zones and teams is a must.
