Senior Analytical Expert

This role focuses on providing high-level scientific guidance and support in analytical research and development, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, plan and interpret complex scientific experiments to support drug development across various phases.
  • Provide expert scientific guidance to laboratory associates, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain analytical documentation, including releases, batch records, method validations, stability reports, and technical documentation, while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company standards.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall analytical control strategy and participate in scientific exchange groups within the organization.
  • Communicate scientific/technical results internally and contribute to publications, presentations, and patents.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and project deliverables within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain adherence to Quality metrics, Compliance, and Good Documentation Practices following ALCOA+ principles, GLP, OQM, HSE, ISEC, and organizational guidelines.
Requirements:
  • PhD in analytical chemistry or equivalent, with a minimum 6 years' experience, or M. Pharma/M. Sc with a minimum of 12 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry in analytical research and development.
  • Proven experience in driving analytical activities for NCEs across various phases of drug development, complex injectables, parenteral, oligonucleotides, peptides, and late phase method validation.
  • Proficient in software and computer tools, including Office packages, LIMS, chromatography data-evaluation software (e.g., Chromeleon), etc.
  • Fluent English language skills (oral and written).
  • GMP experience in an analytical laboratory.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a specific scientific/technical area.
  • Effective presentation skills and scientific/technical writing abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
