Job Overview

The Senior Voice Specialist role involves designing and implementing robust, secure voice infrastructure. This encompasses collaborating with the architecture team to create IT systems, proposing innovative technologies, and providing expertise in voice and video domains.

This position requires strong knowledge of Cisco Voice technologies, AV devices, and/or Oracle SBC, as well as excellent analytical skills. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and administering IP Telephony L1 & L2 tasks, including CUCM, Unity, UCCX, and Voice Gateways.
  • Providing expertise in Oracle SBC, Kurmi, Clobba (Codesoft) systems.
  • Troubleshooting voice incidents and escalating to L3 support.
  • Managing audio-visual equipment, including video conferencing units, projectors, and other devices.
  • Operating Crestron CP4 and other devices, such as Kramer, QSC Amplifier, Shure mics.
  • Collaborating with the BAU team during critical incidents.
  • Supporting AV/VC setup and coordinating with vendors for necessary support.
  • Coordinating root cause analysis and establishing recovery and prevention processes.
  • Ensuring infrastructure strengthening through obsolesce management.

Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Cisco Voice technologies, AV devices, and/or Oracle SBC.
  • Strong knowledge of SIP and video endpoints.
  • Experience with network and telecom infrastructure.
  • ITIL and Change Management expertise.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of voice and video infrastructure, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with traffic analysis tools such as Solarwinds, Netflow, and Wireshark is also desirable.
