Job Title: DevOps Observability SME

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps professional with expertise in observability solutions to join our team.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role that requires a strong focus on OpenTelemetry, Python development, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Create scalable observability solutions using OpenTelemetry (metrics, logs, traces).
  • Develop custom collectors, exporters, and automation tools using Python.
  • Implement dashboards & visualizations in Grafana and optimize logging in Splunk.
  • Manage event streaming pipelines with Kafka.
  • Deploy and monitor observability components in Kubernetes.
  • Build & optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Argo CD).

About the Role:

  • Leverage your experience with OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, AWS, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Apply strong programming skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, YAML (Flask/Node.js a plus).
  • Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL, InfluxDB, Prometheus, RDS, NoSQL).
  • Exposure to monitoring tools – Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, ELK, etc.
