Job Title: Performance Engineer
- We are seeking passionate performance engineers with excellent technical and communication skills to work on performance testing of various software applications and technologies.
- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement performance/scalability benchmarks for software applications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.
- Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
- Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments and analyze results.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure quality in cross-team engineering efforts.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
- Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
- Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman).
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance-tuning SQL queries.
- Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
