Operational Risk Manager

Job Overview:
A risk management professional is sought to lead the development and implementation of an Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a comprehensive risk management strategy, ensuring robust internal controls are in place.
- IDentify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Risk Registers to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular reviews of business processes, identifying gaps and developing recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvement.
- Collaborate with risk owners to identify key risks and mitigating controls in their business units.
- Prepare reports for senior management and the board on risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
- Develop a risk reporting framework to focus attention on critical risks.
Requirements:
- A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution, with certifications like FRM, CFA, or CBCP preferred.
Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in Exchange ecosystem operations and risk management principles.
Skillset:
- Strong knowledge of risk identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
- Understanding of control frameworks and ability to design and evaluate control effectiveness.
- Familiarity with risk and governance standards, such as COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
