Job Description

As a Data Governance Architect, you will design, architect, deploy, and maintain big data-based data governance solutions. This role involves technical management across the full life cycle of data-based data governance projects from requirement gathering and analysis to platform selection, design of the architecture, and deployment.

You will collaborate with business consultants, analysts, data scientists, senior data engineers, and developers to develop data solutions. Additionally, you will explore new technologies for creative business problem-solving and assist in generating net new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical management across the full life cycle of data-based data governance projects.
  • Scaling the solution in a cloud-based infrastructure or a non-cloud option.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions.
  • Exploring new technologies for creative business problem-solving.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of data governance engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Technical Skills:

  • 10+ years of overall technical experience with knowledge of Python/GenAI.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance tool Solutions/implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Governance Solutions and a good understanding of the following:
    • Data Catalog
    • Business Glossary
    • Business metadata, technical metadata, operational Metadata
    • Data Quality
    • Data Profiling
    • Data Lineage
