Senior Software Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to fill a challenging role in our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience. They will be proficient in Java programming and coding, with experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.

  • Design and deliver high-quality technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.
  • Implement critical technology solutions across multiple technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Develop and troubleshoot software solutions with innovative approaches to solve complex technical problems.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering principles.
  • Proficient in Java programming and Spring Boot, Microservices.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS (EC2, EKS, S3).
  • Strong experience with NoSQL (Cassandra, DynamoDB) and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Kafka.
Key Responsibilities

You will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver complex technology products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
  • Identifying hidden problems and patterns to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contributing to software engineering communities of practice and exploring new and emerging technologies.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proficient in Java programming and Spring Boot, Microservices.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS (EC2, EKS, S3).
  • Strong experience with NoSQL (Cassandra, DynamoDB) and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Kafka.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI.
