About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team in Chennai. As a cybersecurity generalist, you will focus on providing comprehensive security solutions and experience across various domains.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of application development processes, at least one programming language, and scripting languages such as Java, Scala, C#, JavaScript, Angular, ReactJs, Ruby, Perl, Python, or Shell.

You should be familiar with OS security, network security, and cloud security. Experience with security testing frameworks like PTES, OWASP, OSSTMM, SANS is also required.

A strong understanding of application threat modeling, source code reviews, secure architecture reviews, and penetration testing tools such as BurpSuite, Nessus, Checkmarx, Acunetix, and Kali Linux is necessary.

You will be responsible for identifying individual application security risk portfolios/threats, reviewing sufficient security controls, and submitting customized reports as requested by clients.

Additionally, you will review API/middleware/SFTP interfaces between applications, develop/review baseline documents for OS/application security/API, and assess risks associated with various applications deployed/to be deployed (including cloud-based).

The successful candidate will evaluate/security assess open-source applications, vet network and data flow diagrams with respect to security aspects, and perform application threat modeling.

Requirements
  • Graduation in EC or CS or IT or Information Security or Cyber Security or MCA
  • Working experience as a Penetration Testing Expert for 5 year(s)
  • Hands-on experience with security testing frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of application development processes
  • Familiarity with OS security, network security, and cloud security
