Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Operations Manager to lead our medical billing and coding operations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in US revenue cycle management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.

  • Establish and manage high-performing teams of medical billers and coders to deliver compliant and quality US healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) services from India.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and performance metrics to ensure seamless RCM operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and manage experienced staff to set up and lead RCM operations.
  • Medical Billing & Coding: Ensure accurate claims submission and follow regulatory guidelines.
  • Prior Authorizations: Facilitate smooth authorization process for medical services.
  • Charge Entry & Payment Posting: Efficiently manage financial transactions and postings.
  • Denials Management: Identify and resolve denial issues to improve revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) Follow-ups: Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
Performance Metrics:
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track AR days, First Pass Resolution Rate, and Denial %.
  • Identify Bottlenecks: Analyze and resolve operational inefficiencies to enhance revenue cycle performance.
Communication Skills:
  • Regular Updates: Provide timely updates to stakeholders on process improvements and escalations.
  • Reporting: Offer actionable insights through regular reports.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in US RCM, with 3+ years in a billing manager/supervisor role.
  • Strong expertise in medical billing, medical coding, prior authorization, denial management, and insurance verification.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and major PM/EHR systems.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
