We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and administration, with experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and Oracle Database 12c, 19c, rman, Shell scripting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle server software and related products, as well as monitoring OEM alerts and acting on them.
In addition, the candidate will work closely with development teams to provide technical support and perform general technical troubleshooting.
The Database Administrator will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining backup and recovery policies and procedures, taking care of database design and implementation, implementing and maintaining database security, and working as part of a team to provide 24×7 support.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle server software and related products.
- Monitoring OEM alerts and acting on them.
- Providing technical support to development teams.
- Establishing and maintaining backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Taking care of database design and implementation.
- Implementing and maintaining database security.
