Accounts Payable Coordinator

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Accounts Payable Coordinator. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor relationships.
About the Role:
- Manage the entire accounts payable process, from receipt of invoices to payment authorization and vendor communication.
- Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices, including discounts when applicable.
- Check vendor files for previous payments and assign voucher numbers as required.
- Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount, and coding according to accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize AP efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (B.Com).
- Significant experience in accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or PeopleSoft a plus.
