Job Overview

The System Integration Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing system integrations with various cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration, system stability, and an optimized user experience across the system landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Configure and maintain communication arrangements and RFC destinations for system integration.
  2. Manage subscriptions, destinations, and Cloud Connector connectivity.
  3. Define and administer roles, authorizations, and access control within the system and connected systems.
  4. Design, configure, and maintain launchpad, including catalogs, groups, roles, spaces, and pages.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug applications and services, utilizing transactions for analysis.
  6. Configure, monitor, and manage API Management for secure and scalable integrations.
  7. Support OData service configuration, activation, and monitoring for application integration.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between the system and connected solutions.
  9. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration setups, configurations, and processes.
  10. Ensure compliance with security standards, authorization concepts, and best practices across the system landscapes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  1. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in system integration and related technologies.
  2. Strong knowledge of communication arrangements, RFC destinations, and integration setup.
  3. Proficiency in subscription and destination management, as well as Cloud Connector configuration.
  4. In-depth understanding of roles and authorization concepts.
  5. Hands-on experience in launchpad configuration (catalogs, groups, roles, spaces, and pages).
  6. Familiarity with application debugging and Gateway transactions.
  7. Expertise in API Management, including configuration, security, and monitoring.
  8. Good knowledge of OData services and application troubleshooting.
  9. Strong documentation skills to ensure clarity, maintainability, and knowledge sharing.
  10. BASIC knowledge of UI5 development (preferred).
  11. Exposure to Cloud Integration (CPI/iFlows) is an advantage.
  12. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  13. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, agile, and cross-functional environment.
