Job Title: Software Integration Specialist

  • A full-time, remote role for a skilled Software Integration Engineer.

About this Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Software Integration Specialist. This individual will be responsible for designing and building integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in backend web development, proficiency in TypeScript and NestJS, and strong understanding of automated testing at every level. They should also have knowledge of API development, message queues, and databases.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to test and validate code before deployment, and experience working with integrating third-party systems and optimizing data flow between platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design, build, and maintain integrations with PMS and third-party platforms.
  2. Develop and optimize integration pipeline for reliability and efficiency.
  3. Understand downstream systems and architect scalable integration solutions.
  4. Engage with PMS partners to identify new features and updates.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues.
  6. Continuously improve backend infrastructure and automate tasks.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in backend web development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with NestJS or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing at every level.
  • Knowledge of API development, message queues, and databases.
  • Experience with integrating third-party systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to test and validate code.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in frontend development using React.
  • Experience working in hospitality tech industry or with PMS integrations.
