About the Role

  • This is a senior leadership position within the Finance & Accounts team, overseeing accounting and budgetary control functions.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining financial administration systems and processes that comply with IND AS guidelines and company policies.
  • The role involves working closely with Corporate Finance to develop comprehensive financial plans, reports, and forecasts.
  • Duties also include preparing monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly accounts of the organization, as well as providing accurate financial and management accounting information.
  • This includes ensuring compliance with local corporate reporting and statutory requirements and adhering to tight time schedules.
  • Supporting the implementation of finance/accounting/costing systems to meet company objectives and requirements is another key aspect of this role.
  • Collaborating with Corporate Finance to develop manuals and policies incorporating best finance and accounting practices is essential.
  • Additionally, supporting Corporate Finance in working capital management, forex management, preparation of credit rating-related documentation, and taxation is required.
  • Bank financing documentation, including business model preparation, is also part of this role.
  • Frequent coordination with Corporate Finance members to implement and support execution of decisions is necessary.

About You

We are seeking an experienced professional with 10-12 years of experience in the FMCG or Beverages industry.

Reporting Structure

This position will report administratively to the COO and functionally to the CFO.

Location

The position is based out of Rourkela.

Qualification and Experience

A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred, along with strong work-hand experience in an ERP environment.
