Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Technical Recruitment Specialist.

  • You will be responsible for sourcing and hiring top talent by posting job adverts, performing active candidate outreach, and building screening and assessment processes.
  • Review job applications and mark assessments, perform background checks on candidates, and create shortlists for clients.
  • Communicate with candidates, providing feedback and responses promptly in accordance with our brand's values.
  • Establish key relationships with institutional partners such as universities and colleges, and enhance our employer brand awareness through events and networking.
  • Optimise our screening and assessment process, report on recruitment performance, and implement changes from client calls and performance reviews.
  • Create standard operating procedures for new and existing processes, continually refining them for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A systems thinker with creative problem-solving skills, able to drive continual process improvement.
  • Highly resourceful, with a strong sense of urgency, organisational skills, and a caring attitude towards work and colleagues.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English, detail-oriented, and possessing advanced talent acquisition skills.
  • An excellent judge of character, emotional intelligence, ability to create and document new processes, and exceptional communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and minimum 3 years experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a startup environment or scale up.
