Job Description:

Our team is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems that meet the needs of our customers. We use a variety of technologies, including Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Closely collaborating within and across teams to ensure the seamless functioning of one or more critical backend modules with exposed interfaces.
  • Demonstrating a strong working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
  • Proficiency in concepts related to message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.
  • Familiarity with High Availability, Resiliency, Geographic Redundancy, and similar concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Designing and implementing backend systems using Python, Django, and other relevant technologies.
  • Developing and implementing automation tests, including unit tests and integration tests for regression testing.
  • Working with GitLab or Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.
  • Setting up CI/CD pipelines as required.

Must-Have Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Programming Languages: Python
  • Web Framework: Django
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Public Cloud Platforms: AWS
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.

Additional Skills (Desirable):

While not essential, the following skills would be an advantage:

  • Hands-on experience with middleware technologies.
  • Exposure to software development within the telecom domain.
