Cloud Security Specialist

 

Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a detail-oriented Cloud Security Analyst to join our growing security team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 1 year of experience in cybersecurity or cloud technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security events across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Implement cloud security best practices and policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential cloud security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.
  • Compliance audits and documentation (ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.).
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends, threats, and tools.

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and basic security concepts.
  • Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc. (preferred).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cloud security.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship or academic project related to cybersecurity or cloud technologies.
  • Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
