Job Title: Senior Risk Management Leader

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the development and implementation of wholesale risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive risk management frameworks, incorporating statistical models and data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret complex financial data, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement monitoring tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely intervention in case of deviations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a banking or finance sector environment.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and programming languages such as R and Python.
  • Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive risk management experience, with a strong understanding of risk management concepts and methodologies.
  • Leadership experience in a matrixed and multi-jurisdictional organization, with a proven track record of team building and capability development.
