Determines work priorities based on general guidance from managers.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute and promote ideas and initiatives, providing support and expertise to colleagues.

Trains and mentors colleagues, including senior software engineers, in strategic areas.

Works on issues of diverse scope, requiring skills and understanding of current industry trends.

Participates in developing technical business approaches and new or enhanced tools, contributing to recommendations for growth-enhancing technologies.

Explores the application of new technologies and approaches in innovative ways to software solutions, providing expert advice.

Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Breaks down business requirements into functional requirements, considering security and operational efficiency.

Supports and develops software engineers through coaching, advice, and educational opportunities.

Leads significant projects, programs, and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity.

Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues.

May lead the daily work of assigned teams, recommending modifications to daily operations and adjusting short-term priorities as needed.

Displays passion for efficiency, collaboration, and establishing strong relationships.

Shows commitment to quality, technical excellence, and results, modeling curiosity and a passion for learning.

About You:

Plans, designs, develops, and tests software systems or applications for enhancements and new products.

Writes code that establishes and enhances coding specifications, typically for software programs and systems with limited precedent.

Delivers high-quality software features within designated release plans and delivery commitments.

Works on problems of diverse scope, analyzing data to evaluate identifiable factors.

Owns functional areas, breaking down large requests into sub-tasks, giving higher-level status updates, and writing test plans.

Takes operational responsibility, sets measurable goals, and meets them, performing code reviews.

Participates in developing technical business approaches and new or enhanced technical tools.

Sets project schedules, defines project parameters, tasks, and monitors project tasks.

Owns the development and rollout of entire products or large projects.

Leads teams, recommends modifications to daily operations, and adjusts short-term priorities as needed.

Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts and Business Unit strategy.

Develops and maintains strong relationships, negotiating with internal and external customers to identify future needs.

Has extensive knowledge and skills gained through wide-ranging experiences in a field requiring diverse practices or procedures.

Recognized expert in their functional area or geography, with deep knowledge of complex products, markets, and functions in their area.
