PHP Developer

We are looking for a skilled PHP developer to join our team. As a member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with PHP, including frameworks such as WordPress or Laravel. Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also required for seamless integration of user-facing elements. Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and ability to write efficient SQL queries are must-haves.

Beyond technical skills, excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and best practices, combined with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in writing scalable and maintainable code, are also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web applications and websites.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Design, develop, and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain databases, write and optimize SQL queries, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Stay updated with the latest PHP, web development trends, and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including API documentation and deployment notes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress Development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency in PHP, including experience with frameworks such as WordPress or Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for seamless integration of user-facing elements.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in writing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security and data protection measures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and cost management tools in Azure.
