Job Summary

Viraaj HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled SAP MDG Consultant to join our team. As an SAP MDG Consultant, you will play a critical role in implementing and customizing the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solution to meet the organization's data management needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze master data requirements.
  • Design and implement data models and data governance processes within SAP MDG.
  • Customize SAP MDG to support data quality and data governance rules.
  • Configure business rules, workflows, and data validations in SAP MDG.
  • Integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Provide expertise in SAP ERP data structures and integration points with SAP MDG.
  • Participate in system testing, data migration, and end-user training for SAP MDG.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of SAP MDG solutions.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to master data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align master data strategies with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain documentation for SAP MDG configurations and customizations.
  • Stay updated on SAP MDG best practices and new features to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to global data governance initiatives and standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants on SAP MDG best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing and customizing SAP MDG solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts and data governance principles.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ERP modules and their integration with SAP MDG.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming for customizing SAP MDG solutions.
  • Experience with data migration strategies and tools within SAP environments.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and develop solutions within SAP MDG.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with business stakeholders and project teams.
  • Certifications in SAP MDG or related SAP modules are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail for resolving data management issues.
  • Understanding of master data best practices and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within project timelines.
  • Adaptability to changes and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills for driving successful SAP MDG implementations.
