Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MDG Consultant to join our team at Viraaj HR Solutions. As an SAP MDG Consultant, you will play a critical role in implementing and customizing the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solution to meet our client's data management needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze master data requirements.
  • Data Modeling and Governance: Design and implement data models and data governance processes within SAP MDG.
  • Solution Customization: Customize SAP MDG to support data quality and data governance rules.
  • System Configuration: Configure business rules, workflows, and data validations in SAP MDG.
  • Integration and Testing: Integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modules and external systems, and participate in system testing, data migration, and end-user training.
  • Documentation and Support: Create and maintain documentation for SAP MDG configurations and customizations, and provide ongoing maintenance and optimization of SAP MDG solutions.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Stay updated on SAP MDG best practices and new features, and contribute to global data governance initiatives and standards. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants on SAP MDG best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in implementing and customizing SAP MDG solutions.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts and data governance principles, strong understanding of SAP ERP modules and their integration with SAP MDG, proficiency in ABAP programming, and experience with data migration strategies and tools within SAP environments.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze complex business processes and develop solutions, and adaptability to changes and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
