About Indian Institute of Technology Bombay:

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
  1. Develop a long-term vision and strategy for the Centre.
  2. Create programs and initiatives aligned with the Centre's mandate in financial markets research and education.
  • Education and Research Program Management:
  1. Support research projects, working papers, and publications in financial markets and related areas.
  2. Manage faculty-led research, student engagement, and visiting scholar initiatives.
  3. Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.
  • Industry and Stakeholder Engagement:
  1. Build partnerships with financial institutions, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other organizations.
  2. Organize events featuring industry experts.
  • Operational Oversight:
  1. Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Centre, including budgeting and resource planning.
  2. Supervise support staff, interns, and research associates.
  • Communication and Outreach:
  1. Enhance the Centre's visibility through online and offline channels.
  2. Represent the Centre at conferences, academic forums, and industry meetings.

Requirements

  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in academic and/or research institutions, regulatory bodies, financial services companies, industry associations, or relevant organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage academic and research programs.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, fintech, or quantitative finance desirable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
