ServiceNow System Administrator Role

This position involves overseeing the optimal performance of the ServiceNow platform during daily operations, ensuring seamless support and maintenance.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Support and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform, monitoring daily operations, managing Incidents and requests, and ensuring data quality.
  • Participation in routine Platform maintenance activities such as upgrades, cloning, and patching.
  • Support for incident, problem, and Change Management process within the ServiceNow team.
  • Engagement in ITIL processes consulting and/or implementation.
  • Management of major incidents P1/P2 to triage and resolve ServiceNow issues.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders on exploring new opportunities to automate operational processes.
  • Documentation of operational procedures and maintenance of Knowledge Articles.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 3+ years of experience as an operations engineer.
  • 1-2 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform as Development/Operations/Administration.
  • Technical skills including a basic understanding of ITSM module and ITIL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementation in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset).
  • Basic experience with ServiceNow configuration, scripting, integrations (REST, SOAP APIs), and automation.
  • Exposure to reporting and dashboards is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 3+ years of experience as an operations engineer.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps
  • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
