About the Role:

In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in shaping DAZN's technology strategy and driving business growth through innovative solutions. As our Chief Technology Strategist, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs and developing integrated solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Design and document system architectures to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless integration and data flow between systems.
  • Tech Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of DAZN's technologies, systems, and potential alternatives to drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and System Managers to translate business requirements into robust system designs.
  • System Assessment: Evaluate existing software systems to identify areas for improvement, particularly around data integration and availability.
  • Technical Leadership: Oversee system architecture solutions for platforms such as ServiceNow (ITSM), MS Dynamics, Jira & Confluence, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Oracle ERP, and Oracle HCM.
  • Documentation: Create functional specifications, architecture diagrams, and documentation for technical solutions.
  • Communication: Present technical designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
  • Emerging Tech: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, making recommendations for change when necessary.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of system administrators and support the Enterprise Applications Team in achieving its goals.

Your Team:

You will work within the Enterprise Applications Team, which manages and supports various employee-centric systems. In addition to managing systems, you will also lead a team of system administrators, guiding DAZN's technology and integration strategies.

Requirements:

  • Strong Foundation: A solid foundation in common technology stacks and their integration options, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to document and present system architecture and technical solutions clearly and effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic thinker with the ability to provide solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Data Governance: Experience with data governance, data management, and API/microservices architecture.
  • Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with systems such as ServiceNow (ITSM), MS Dynamics, Jira & Confluence, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, capable of conveying technical designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct independent research and identify best practices in the industry.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
