Intellectual Property Research Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Specialist to lead high-impact intellectual property research projects and manage a team of patent professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex patent projects – invalidation, freedom to operate, patentability searches
- Conduct technology landscapes, white space analysis, competitor monitoring
- Deliver insight-driven patent reports supporting strategic decisions
- Collaborate with global clients to define scope and align on objectives
- Evaluate patent portfolios for legal, technical, and commercial insights
- Manage and mentor a team of IP professionals for quality and productivity
- Drive client engagement and support business development opportunities
- Promote best practices, process improvements, and knowledge-sharing
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Requirements- 6–10 years of experience in patent research and analytics
- Prior experience managing a team of 3–5+ members
- Hands-on experience handling global client calls independently
- Proficiency in patent search tools (e.g. Derwent Innovation), MS Office
- Strong analytical mindset, scientific aptitude, and communication skills
- BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Electronics / Electrical / Industrial Production
