Our team is seeking a skilled Patent Engineer to join our ranks. As a Patent Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual property landscape of our organization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for working on patentability searches, patent drafting, and office actions. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the engineering community and external law firms in reviewing invention disclosures and converting those ideas into valuable patents.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to manage projects efficiently, ensuring timely execution while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in handling patentability searches, prosecution, and patent application drafting for an engineering company as part of an in-house IP team.
  • Strong passion for technology and keen interest in developing business acumen. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments.
