The Head of Intellectual Property role is a leadership position that oversees the company's Search and Licensing business unit.

This individual will be responsible for executing the strategic roadmap for the Search and Licensing business, aligning offerings with market needs and evolving IP trends.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing patent search, analytics, and licensing projects, with experience in global client management across various domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vertical Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the Search and Licensing business unit.
  • Revenue Generation & P&L Ownership: Own the P&L of the vertical, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Service Delivery & Quality Assurance: Supervise end-to-end execution of all IP Search and Analytics services.
  • IP Monetization & Licensing: Lead the design and execution of IP Monetization strategies.
  • Client Engagement & Satisfaction: Serve as strategic advisor to clients, offering insight-driven IP solutions.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead a team of analysts, senior searchers, and licensing professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering/technology or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property (preferred).
  • 10-15 years of experience in IP services, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing patent search, analytics, and/or licensing projects.
  • Global client experience across domains such as Engineering, ICT, Pharma, Life Sciences, etc.
