Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PCB Design Engineer with solid experience in Schematic and Layout design, Validation, board bring up and debugging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design complex multilayer PCB layouts up to 6-12 layers in mixed signal design.
  • Experience handling BGAs with Blind and buried via techniques.
  • Knowledge of latest interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN etc.
  • Differential routing, Length matching routing, Impedance routing, and EMI/EMC problem minimization.
  • DFM & DFA Analysis & Gerber & ODB ++ Checking.
  • IPC standard compliance.
  • Schematic Designing, schematic symbols and PCB footprint approvals.
  • Schematic design entry in Allegro tool.
  • Schematic and PCB layout reviews for internal and customers.
  • PCB vendors development and coordination for PCB manufacturing related issues.
  • Board bring ups, debugging and testing.
  • UART, I2C, LCD, SPI, QSPI, CSI2, CAN communication expertise preferred.
  • BOM approval and releases.
  • Component selection for schematic designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews.
Required Skills:
  • Proven track record of successful production level PCBs in market.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Third party vendor interaction and review of work.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows experience.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication.
