Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Supplier Relationship Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives across global procurement functions.

This pivotal role drives cost reduction, supply base optimization, and contract negotiation through building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the development of strategic suppliers.
    • Collaborate with suppliers while effectively resolving performance issues to ensure alignment with organizational direction.
    • Evaluate supplier compliance with company code-of-conduct programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
    • Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization.
    • Enlist senior management support as needed to reinforce commitment and involvement from suppliers.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Negotiations:
    • Participate in supplier segmentation and goal setting.
    • Provide market intelligence and category price trends to internal stakeholders.
    • Utilize should-cost models for assigned categories benchmarked against global markets.
    • Share knowledge with stakeholders to enable effective planning, forecasting, and execution.
    • Negotiate contract extensions, renewals, and renegotiation of prices.
    • Coordinate sourcing events and RFQ processes.
  • Supplier Performance Management:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance.
    • Collect and relay business priorities to suppliers.
    • Own and manage overall Strategic Supplier relationships within assigned categories.
    • Monitor supplier performance against expectations to drive continuous improvement.
