Key Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions on at least one major cloud platform.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud-native data services, experience with big data technologies and data warehousing concepts, as well as strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes and data modeling techniques.

  • This role requires proven expertise in driving the full lifecycle of data engineering solutions from strategic design to hands-on implementation.

A successful candidate will lead the implementation of data solutions on various cloud platforms, collaborate with data engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

This key role involves:

  • Designing and implementing data solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
  • Mentoring junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native data services.
  • Experience with big data technologies and data warehousing concepts.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data governance tools and practices.
